new eyebrow, thanks to HENNA ALIS! (review henna alis)

okay so basically i am kind of re-write my blog here since it takes quiet some time for me to figure out wordpress, and when i use blogspot UX (user xperience) i feel more comfortable and more easier to understand here! so i will jump into the review as what i write on my wordpress!

eyebrow has always been the first world problem for me! in this case, i really don’t care about the term going bare face with no make up at all, because NO! i cannot not have an eyebrow framing my face! hahaha.. so it all started when i was on a video call with a friend of mine, she saw me with no eyebrow and said “i guess you should try henna eyebrow” i didn’t directly check it, but after few weeks i remember about what she said, and straight researching the review on the internet, especially on youtube. so i discovered a few video, but some of them are making it too big like a sinchan cartoon eyebrows.. so yeah i’ll just give it a shot, beside the price was very cheap!

below is the details of where did i get and how i apply it to my eyebrow!

  1. i bought mine in shopee, from below store:
it was only IDR 10.000 and 10.000 for the shipping fee: total cost IDR 20.000

i chose the black one, because my hair is also black. same color for eyebrow and your hair, i think its the best choice if you want to achieve that natural look!

2. once arrived, make sure the color is right, then i move it to a small jar (re-use your skin care jar), i use the spoolie from my previous maybelline tattoo brow because it’s a perfect applicator seriously!

3. use it in an oil-free eyebrow, better clean your whole face first then frame your eyebrow like how you usually make your daily eyebrows, or you could check on the internet for reference. mine was like this

i color it as thick as i can (but in the shape that i want ofcourse) because my very first attempt was not really thick, i was too afraid that it will turns out like sinchan cartoon, but after i washed it the color turns out not really dark and quiet fast to fade, so i decided to retouched it after few days and make this thick consistency in my eyebrow.

4. i let it sit for minimum 2 hours, again it is because the last time i only sit it for 30mins and it fades fast. so i guess minimum 2 hours is perfect, i can do other activities as well like eating, cleaning etc.

5. clean the eyebrow with micellar water, but dont push your cotton too hard because it will slowly fade as you wash your face everyday, and the result was like the picture above

i am quiet satisfy and happy with the second attempt! yayy. this picture taken at night after i shower and wash my face again, and for the first time in my life.. my eyebrow doesnt fade after i wash it.. (i usually use viva eyebrow pencil) so this henna is quiet a WIN-WIN!

i took another selfie with my eyebrow before sleep, and after i woke up ðŸ™‚

i feel like one of my life problem is solved.. haha as i don’t need to spend bunch of money for sulam alis which cost for around 2000k onwards, and i could also get this same eyebrow for only 20k.

Okay so now the conclusion, i will give pros and cons:

Pros:
– cheap money
– can design the eyebrow as you wish
– quiet easy to retouch
– you wake up with an EYEBROW
– not hurting your skin with a needle/jarum (unless you are allergic, please test on your skin first)

Cons:
– it is quiet difficult if you want to make it looks like hairs as sulam alis do
– the color fades fast around 4-5 days so you need to retouch every week (especially if you have very thin hair on your eyebrow)
– you cannot control the thickness once it apply in your eyebrows

well that’s my personal experience! i hope this helps some of you that is looking to make your eyebrow more bold!

if you got any questions please do reach out to me and i will be happily to help some of your confusion because we are in this together giiirll!!

Thank you for reading and write to you soon,
x adinda
