3 things i didn't know i need (or maybe you too) before 8am
the moment i feel like my mood is better since i have this in my morning routine, i automatically feel like i need to share this to the blog! this things that i am going to write is seriously lifted up my mood! not only that but it will also be beneficial for your body!
i started off by making a morning check list that i need to do first thing in the morning, no matter what that is, i need to do these 3 things! i will go ahead break it down just for you:
1. morning gratitude
it is very important to set your mind to be grateful and express gratitude every morning for what has been blessed for you, starting from the little thing as little as waking up on a comfy bed, or waking up and you still have both of your eyes works perfectly. those things really keep my mind stay focus on the positive things and is very good for your foundation of the day
2. take time to massage your face or do a natural remedies
this one is a face skin care hack! i have been recently wipe my face with frozen sliced cucumber and i will forever keep that in my morning routine! it really is de-puff your face, making your face super fresh, and tighten your pores.. plus it is super cheap and natural.. that couldn't get any better right? try adding this to your morning routine and feel your face and mood uplift.. figuratively and literally.
so after that i also like to massage my face, you can use your finger or a gua sha stone. there are alot of tutorials on youtube, like this one: finger face massage this granny shows you how to massage your face with only using your finger. aaaand.. all you need is - an - intention.
3. stretch - stretcch - stretccch!
today marked the 30th day of my morning yoga. it was very surprising that i can touch the tip of my toe! the first time i started, when i sit and straightening my leg, i cannot even touched my ankle, but now i can! i was so happy it felt like a gift for my day 30th! so figuring out that your body can actually achieve this and that somehow have the same chemicals effect like you have just achieved something, only it wasn't that big deal. haha but it was for me though.. i almost cried. i think i would have this feeling every time i achieve a new yoga pose.. haha. and as you already know, stretching your body every morning have tons of benefits for your body, like a stress reliever, increase your mobility, lessen your lower back pain, aaand many more!
so that was it! my new additions for in the morning. doing this has really set my intention for the day. and by checking some to-do list that i made the night before also could lift up my mood as if i achieve something! it is amazing how you can trick your mind like that.
